About Us

For nearly 25 years, the CACC has partnered with Northeast Ohio organizations to promote our region’s diverse educational opportunities and fulfill our mission. Comprised of 17 distinguished and accredited* colleges and universities, our member institutions share a commitment to excellence in their programs.

The CACC Mission:

  • To provide adult workers with training and education to enhance their lives and contribute to the economic growth of Northeast Ohio.
  • To establish a partnership between the region’s higher education community and the business community, thus facilitating the development of educational programs that are responsive to both employers and their employees.

Accomplishing the CACC Mission:

CACC accomplishes our goals by communicating the benefits of and need for professional development within companies, hospitals and not-for-profit organizations.

The CACC works with companies that understand the value of professional development – companies that know that when their employees develop skills, not only does their organization benefit, but the whole region benefits.

The importance of professional development has received national attention through the Talent Dividend, a recent study by CEOs for Cities. The regional version of the study indicates that a 1% increase in adult bachelor degree attainment in Northeast Ohio would equal an additional $2.8 billion in regional income each year.
