History/Purpose

The Cleveland Area College Consortium was founded in 1987 to provide college information to working adults in the Greater Cleveland area. This mission is accomplished primarily through college fairs at companies, hospitals and other work sites. College information fairs are also held periodically at area shopping malls, community centers and other areas for the general public.

The activities of the Consortium provide adults with the opportunity to explore in one convenient setting the diverse array of undergraduate and graduate programs and certificate programs available in this geographic area.

The Consortium collaborates with organizations which support the continuing education of their employees. The long-range goal is to provide adult workers with the training to enhance their lives and contribute to the economic growth of northeastern Ohio.
